Why Apollo Dental
The idea behind introducing standalone healthcare centers was to ease the anxiety of illness. In no time, the dental care sector too recognised this as the need of the hour. It was in 2002 that Apollo Hospitals started its standalone dental centers, Apollo Dental which soon grew in numbers and popularity. “The hospital too has clinics with multi – dental chair facility within multi-speciality hospitals. These dental clinics are designed to cater specifically to dental issues and have dental specialists along with highly specialised and state-of-the-art facilities. They are also equipped to handle emergencies, have wheel chair access and have wards with operation theatres for treatment under general anaesthesia and round-the-clock availability of all medical specialists for emergency and cross speciality managements. JCI and NABH accredited, these clinics offer high standards of organised dental care and are adept at handling medically compromised patients as well as people with special needs,” says Dr Prathap Reddy.
